Services E-911 E-911: This is for Fire Protection, Law Enforcement and Ambulance Service: Milo and Brownville Fire Departments provide fire protection. The Piscataquis County Sheriff's Office provides law enforcement; for nonemergencies call 800.432.7372. The Three Rivers Ambulance Service provides the ambulance service. In an emergency situation, call 911, have your lot number (which is your road number), yoru road name, and the name of the main artery your drive or road runs from available to report to the dispatcher.
Household & Solid Waste Lake View belongs to the Penquis Solid Waste Corp. - Penquis Transfer Station. Stickers and station information are available at the Lake View Plantation Office.
Hunting & Fishing Licenses As of January 1, 2010 Hunting and Fishing licenses will be available at the Lake View Plantation Office.
Motor Vehicle Registration Complete Motor Vehicle registrations are done at the Lake View Plantation Office as well as ATV, Boats and Snowmobiles.
Note: All residents and seasonal property owners: all re-registrations can be done via the mail. Just call the office during regular business hours and get the information required with the cost and upon reciept of the funds the registrations can be mailed to you. All new registrations must be completed in person. I hope this will be helpful, as we are only open two days a week.
Property Tax Information Property Tax Information: Contact the Lake View Plantation Office for property information. Property tax payments are received at the office. Questions regarding the assessed value of your property? Contact Bowdoin Associates at 207.848.3109.
Vital Records & Dog Licenses Copies of vital records and dog licenses may be obtained through the Clerk, Barbara Reed at 207.943.5538.
